Piaget and Middle Cildhood.
[ send me this paper ]
(5 pp). Jean Piaget wanted to understand how kids
think. His reasoning was that, if he observed
children's cognitive skills development carefully
some patterns would develop. Recording and being
aware of those patterns would then help him make
some decisions about how we think and accrue
knowledge as adults. This discussion will consider
Piaget's theories of development for middle
childhood. And for the sake of discussion we will
define the age of that child between 7 to 11.
It should be noted that humans, particularly
children, seldom fit in any given development
category one hundred percent of the time.

Prescribing Psychiatric Drugs To Children
[ send me this paper ]

In fact, prescriptions for Ritalin alone rose by 600 percent since the late 1980s. The writer provides a comprehensive investigation of the diagnosis and the use of prescribed drugs. Some studies allege that children are overdiagnosed and overmedicated, some concluded that many children slip through the cracks and are not diagnosed and treated, while still others suggest it is an issue of misdiagnosis and improper medication. Psychological Development In Adolescence
[ send me this paper ]
A 10 page paper discussing adolescence in general. By far, the teen years are not all doom and gloom unless people around the teen attempt to make them that way, but by the same token, adults have no reason to tell teens that life never improves. Finishing up with the hormone wash and gaining the life experience that enables the individual to truly know who he is are freeing in the end, but both processes alone can be devastating to the teen who has only limited adult support and the safety net of a loving and accepting family.
