The Clinton Years: The Power of the American Presidency

A 5 page overview of the power that comes with the American presidency. The contention is presented that although a president might have the capability of inflicting short-term damage to our system of government and our nation, there are provisions in place to make sure that damage is only short term. Bill Clinton, for example, managed to deleteriously change the world perception of the American Presidency. On a more fortunate note, however, Clinton's term was temporary and the American Presidency lives on even in his absence. In all Clinton did nothing towards changing the institution of the presidency itself. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
