Television And Its Impact Upon Rising Juvenile Violence
[ send me this paper ]
Experiencing life requires much more than merely going through the paces of one's existence; rather, the various developmental stages inherent to personal growth require cognitive awareness in order to achieve a true state of being. Myriad people do not realize the abundant elements that comprise one's personal development, often incorrectly surmising that one's transition from childhood to adolescence, marriage to family and advanced education to career are all a matter of happenstance. This presumption, however, does not reflect the intrinsic responsibilities of external influence – such as television – upon one's personal development, which has been suspected of influencing the rising violent tendency of juveniles. The Family Role in Juvenile Delinquency.
[ send me this paper ]
(5 pp)
It used to be popular to" blame" Mom for everything
that went wrong in the lives of her children. We
have moved a little past that, and now look at the
role of "the family" in juvenile delinquency.
While it is necessary to keep in mind, that "mom"
may still be the "only" family, we have also added
to that parental role in the form of extended
family members, the neighborhood and role models
as ways to help keep our children away from
delinquency. Bibliography lists 5 sources.

And why should they expect something more than drugs when their entire short life has been one in which they have had to beg, steal or sell themselves simply to stay alive. Certain international efforts have influenced national programs but the problem is still one of immense proportions. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
