Factors Influencing Juvenile Delinquency
[ send me this paper ]
A 6 page discussion of the myriad of factors which influence juvenile delinquency. Factors Influencing Personality
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page analysis of the many factors which can influence personality and the degree to which personality either stays stable or varies over time. Family Function And Its Affect Upon Adolescence: Comparison Of Two Articles
[ send me this paper ]
5 pages in length. There can be no argument surrounding the fact that family dynamics -- that is the interaction patterns between members, as well as the manner in which the family functions together -- are influential with regard to adolescent psychological development. Two articles clearly depict the association between family life and how a child's psychopathology inevitably develops: "Parental Conflict And Self Esteem: The Rest Of The Story" by Pawlak and Klein, and Shek's "The Relation Of Family Functioning To Adolescent Psychological Well-Being, School Adjustment, And Problem Behavior." While both articles address the inherent importance of bringing children up in a loving, healthy environment, they each bring to light the consequences of what occurs when such a home life is not the case. The writer discusses how adolescent children who spend their formative years within the confines of a hostile or dysfunctional family setting are significantly more prone to detrimental psychological development. No additional sources cited.
