Ninian Smart’s Seven Dimensional Model of Religion
[ send me this paper ]

religious belief, he was able to more clearly articulate the
similarities of faith that exist among event the most widely
divergent populations. A possible weakness in the model is also

No Place for Religious Prayer in Public Schools
[ send me this paper ]
This 6 page
report discusses the issue of school prayer in America and makes
the argument that there is no place for school prayer in a public
school. From the time an American child is in the first or second
grade he/she has learned that “America is a melting pot of
people.” This means different religions and beliefs as well as
ethnicity. Apart from the creative connotations children have
made from that phrase, they are indoctrinated with the idea that
one of the things that makes the United States both more unique
and stronger than other countries is the fact that so many
different people of so many different backgrounds have
contributed to the ways in which America has evolved. Those
different viewpoints have ostensibly led to a collective attitude
of tolerance and respect. Bibliography lists 6 sources.

ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at
hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the
dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received,
freely give." Matthew 10:7, 8. So the New
Testament has directed, and medical missionaries
have been trying to fulfill that command since the
